Man Struck By Metro-North Train In Westchester

A man on the tracks was struck by a Metro-North train on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the vicinity of the White Plains station just before 7:30 a.m. Jan. 19, according to Metro-North.

There were hour-long delays of about 15 minutes after the incident in which the man was hospitalized. The extent of the man's injuries has not yet been released.

The incident is under investigation by Metro-North Police.
